Heat Pumps & Air Conditioning Services
Renewable clean energy is a topic very close to our hearts at Optimum Temps with ever rising energy costs and the inevitable end of fossil fuels we have made it our mission to be at the forefront of energy efficient heating and cooling solutions.
Heat pumps are an extremely efficient way of heating your home, with various options to meet your needs there the potential to save money whilst saving the environment by reducing your carbon footprint. They can also usually be fitted into your existing water heating system meaning you don’t have to tear the whole house down!
The are many varieties of heat pump available for all kinds of applications from large factories or to heating your home so choosing the right fit can be tough but we are here to help.
Air source heat pumps
Air source heat pumps work by taking heat energy from the outside air and transferring in to your home in one of two ways. Air or water, air to air heat pumps are very similar to air conditioning only they heat instead of cool, there is also the option to have heating and cooling, perfect for keeping you comfortable all year round! Where as air to water heat pumps absorb heat from out side and rejects the heat into a central water heating system.
Ground to water source Heat Pumps
These work in the exact same way as an air source heat pump only they absorb heat from the ground by running a glycol (antifreeze) mix through pipes laid under the ground, they also have the advantage of an almost constant ground temperature meaning the will be operating at their optimum efficiency (pun intended 😉) all year round.
OTS also install air conditioning for all kinds of properties; from small domestic dwellings to large industrial properties. We have years of experience in sizing, installation and maintenance of air conditioning, so we are your one stop shop for all things cool and with most air-conditioning units now doubling up as heat pumps the benefits continue throughout the whole year!
So, whether its heating, cooling, install or repair optimum temperature solutions will be the only number you need to get in touch.
