What these terms cover.
These terms explain the basis on which you may use www.optimumtemps.co.uk. The website provides information about commercial bakery equipment, installation, servicing and support, and allows you to contact our team.
Please read these terms before using the website. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the website. They apply to website use only. A purchase, installation, service visit or maintenance agreement is governed by the contract and terms agreed for that particular order.
Using this website does not, by itself, give consent to marketing or optional cookies. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information and how you can control your choices.
Terms and conditions.
Enquiries and product information
Sending a form, requesting a brochure or asking for a quotation does not place an order or confirm an engineer appointment. An automatic acknowledgement confirms receipt of your message only. We will discuss your requirements and confirm any agreed work separately.
We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate. Equipment specifications, availability and other details can change. Please ask us to confirm the current specification, suitability, price and delivery or service arrangements before placing an order. Any quotation will explain its scope and applicable terms.
General website information is not a substitute for an assessment of your equipment, production process or premises. Installation, repair and maintenance must be carried out by appropriately qualified people following the relevant equipment instructions and safety requirements.
Illustrative images may show example products or working environments rather than a particular Optimum installation. Where we identify an image as a specific product, project or customer installation, that description applies.
Our content and manufacturer brands
The website contains material owned by us or used with permission, including text, photographs, graphics and logos. Copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property rights remain with their respective owners.
You may view the website and download or print material made available for that purpose for your own information or internal business evaluation. Keep any ownership notices intact. You must not otherwise republish, sell, distribute or adapt protected material without the relevant rights holder’s permission, except where the law allows it.
KOMA and Kornfeil names, logos and materials belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on this website does not mean that Optimum owns those manufacturers. Our role in any particular supply or service arrangement will be confirmed with you.
Responsible use
You must use the website lawfully. In particular, you must not:
-
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, connected systems or another person’s information;
-
introduce malicious software, interfere with the website or place an unreasonable load on it;
-
submit unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing material, impersonate someone else, or send unsolicited promotions through our forms.
Please provide accurate contact information and only send material that you are entitled to share. Avoid including personal or confidential information that is not needed to deal with your enquiry.
Links and website availability
You may link to our public pages fairly and lawfully, without suggesting an association or endorsement that does not exist. You must not frame our website or misuse our branding. We may ask you to remove a link that breaches these conditions.
Links to manufacturers or other external websites are provided for convenience. Those websites are operated by their respective owners and have their own terms and privacy information.
We may update, maintain or temporarily suspend the website. We cannot promise that it will always be available or free from technical errors. If you cannot use a form or access information, please email us. Our Accessibility Statement explains how to request help or information in another format.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing removes any mandatory rights you have as a consumer or under data protection law.
Subject to those protections, we are responsible for loss or damage caused by our breach of a legal duty where that loss or damage is reasonably foreseeable. We are not responsible for loss caused by your misuse of the website or by an event outside our reasonable control where we have taken reasonable care.
These website terms do not change any rights or responsibilities under a separate equipment supply, installation or service contract.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms as the website or our business changes. The date above identifies this version. Changes apply to future website use and do not retrospectively alter an existing order or service agreement.
These terms and disputes relating to website use are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any mandatory protection or right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you where you live.
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply so far as the law permits. Please contact us using the details above if you have a question or complaint about the website.
